Changing or Canceling an Order

You may cancel or change any non-special order item from your order, provided that it has not yet shipped. If the system will not allow the change, please contact us as soon as possible, keeping in mind that orders usually ship within just a few hours of placing your order.

Duties

Canada: There are no duties charged for orders within Canada.

USA: This is complicated. My boards are handmade one at a time. They should probably be classified as art, but I have always classified them as handmade cribbage boards, which are Duty and Tarriff free under CUMSA.

However, US Customs has taken to adding on additional classifications, (a practise that I assumed was illegal) and has added on not one but several additional classifications, each seemingly for the purpose of collecting cash and they do indeed charge a tarriff for EACH classification.

So my CUMSA qualifying art pieces are generally being taxed and duties by... I'd love to tell you how much, but they change with each and every order!!!

So, as a result.... I will be shipping my boards to the USA with a rather high freight rate to compensate for US Customs continual flailing around to collect more money from you.

What I will do is that of your order manages to squeak through US customs without getting poached for additional revenue, I will refund you the additional freight charge that I have added.

The World: there are rarely import duties on handmade art goods, however additional import duties may be levied once the shipment reaches your country. We have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country: you should contact your local customs office for more information.
